Public Act 335, enacted August 2006 allows for voluntary administrator certification and endorsement. MASA continues to play a significant role in shaping the law and regulations governing the certification options available to aspiring and practicing administrators in Michigan. The MASA Courageous Journey ^TM  is Michigan’s only certification endorsement/enhancement program for superintendents.

This new easy-to-use online decision-tree tool that will give you the information you need to start the process of certification and/or endorsement—at any administrative level.

 

Using the same decision-tree process used in the new Personal Curriculum Decision tool, the software guides an administrator painlessly through the process of discovering which certification or endorsement programs they are eligible for, and what the next steps are for getting started. The tool can be accessed through a link on our website, and can be used by aspiring or practicing principals, central office or superintendents. We think it will be a great help in promoting the process and getting people started in The Courageous Journey. We will also make the tool available to the other administrator associations.
