Completing Horizon Leadership Year 2 will earn participants a Central Office Endorsement on a current Administrator Certificate or an Administrator Certificate with a Central Office Endorsement. Participants will also earn 30 SCECH credits. You must have completed Horizon Leadership Year 1 to be eligible to register for Horizon Leadership Year 2. Please choose one of the options below based on the schedule that best fits your needs.
The Horizon Leadership Academy Year 2 focuses on strengthening leadership skills and strategies for superintendents, aspiring superintendents, central office administrators and building administrators.
Year 2 Program Requirements
Time commitment: 5 days, 30 hours, with mentor coach support throughout the year.
Course content will focus on:
- What researched strategies can provide guidance in strengthening district culture and improving the health of the organization?
- How do we expand Fact-Finding and data analysis to strengthen culture and improve the organization’s health?
- What researched strategies can influence strategic action planning at the school or district level?
Cost for Year 2:
- MASA member: $2,000
- Non-member: $2,300
Note: Participants who completed Horizon Year 1 prior to the 2019-20 school year will follow the previous pricing structure. Please call for details.
Participants are required to complete Horizon Year 1 before they can register for Horizon Year 2.
