Educator Evaluation workshops offer strands for central office, principals, teachers

There is more to educator evaluation than meets the eye. No wonder evaluation is a "hot" issue among educators of all types this fall. Participants in the Friday morning dialogue at the fall conference explored five "hot issues" that can make evaluation painful processes for all involved.

That's why MASA has teamed up with our partners to present a series of educator evaluation workshops designed to help districts turn these "hot issues" into "hot opportunities." Join experts from five organizations* who will help your district team engage in system-wide conversations to generate common understandings around what it takes to create evaluation systems designed for learning, growth and adaptation.

The 2-day workshops will take place in three locations and offer customized strands for superintendents/central office administrators, principals and teachers. District teams (Superintendents, Human Resources, Principals, Teachers, etc.) are highly encouraged to attend one or both days.

NOTE: Building principals and assistant principals can get reimbursed for this conference now that MASSP is an approved provider of teacher evaluation training.  You would register and pay for the event and then be reimbursed at a later date.  In  November or December, your Superintendent can go into MEGs to apply for the grant money for reimbursement.
