The Michigan Association of Superintendents & Administrators (MASA) is pleased to welcome Chris Ming, Superintendent of Au Gres-Sims School District, to the MASA Board of Directors.

Ming was elected by MASA members to serve a three-year term as Director beginning July 1, 2026, followed by a six-year leadership commitment serving as President-Elect, President, and Past President of the association.

Representing MASA Region 4, which includes school leaders from Northeast Michigan, Ming currently serves on the MASA Council as Chair of the Conference Planning Committee and is also an active member of the MASA Small and Rural Taskforce.

As Superintendent of Au Gres-Sims School District, Ming is recognized for his focus on innovation, strategic planning, and student-centered learning. Throughout his career, he has led initiatives that strengthen community partnerships, expand opportunities for students, and align district resources with long-term vision and success.

Passionate about equity and access, Ming believes in creating opportunities by eliminating barriers and opening pathways for students to succeed in college, careers, and their lives.
