MASA is excited to announce the opening of a new position within the organization’s Communications team: Communications Content Strategist.
This new role reflects MASA’s continued investment in strengthening digital communications, member engagement, and the way stories are shared across the organization and Michigan’s public education community.
The Communications Content Strategist will help source and create a wide range of multimedia content—including video, podcasts, social media, and written features—to spotlight the incredible work MASA is doing with our membership, as well as highlighting member stories from the field.
“This role is an exciting next step for our communications team and our broader vision for member engagement,” said Phil Marrah, Director of Communications for MASA. “There are amazing stories happening every day across Michigan schools and within MASA itself. We’re looking for someone who can help us capture those moments in creative and meaningful ways that keep members connected and inspired.”
The position is designed for a creative and collaborative communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys bringing fresh ideas to digital storytelling, multimedia content creation, and strategic communications.
MASA offers a hybrid work schedule, competitive benefits, and the opportunity to work closely with educational leaders across the state.
Applications are now being accepted, with priority consideration given to qualified candidates who apply by June 3, 2026.
