Director of Professional Development
Cari Bushinski has dedicated more than 35 years to public education, with a career centered on leadership, collaboration, and eliminating barriers to student success. For 21 years, she served as Director of Instruction at Northwest Community Schools, where she guided systemic improvements and built strong partnerships among schools, industries, and community organizations. Her passion lies in equipping educational leaders to eliminate barriers and create the conditions that maximize teaching excellence and student learning.
Cari holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Western Michigan University, a Master’s Degree in Leadership and Administration, and an Early Childhood Endorsement at the Graduate Level. Her leadership extends beyond schools through service on numerous community and executive boards, as well as initiatives designed to strengthen the talent pipeline and expand opportunities for students.
