Description: Authorize additional spending in the 2019-20 school aid budget by increasing state school aid payments to certain charter schools. An increase in funding for all charters was in the 2019-20 fiscal year budget approved by the legislature in late September of 2019, but was removed by one of 147 line-item vetoes executed by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer. Under the bill, the allocation calculated under this section is $8,111 per membership pupil other than special education pupils in the public school academy.
