Hannah Sweeney, MPP

she/her/hers

Legislative Policy Analyst

Hannah worked in two Legislative offices and held a Legislative Fellowship with the Michigan House of Representatives. Additionally, she worked as a Policy Fellow during her graduate studies with the Institute of Public Policy and Social Research at Michigan State University. Previously, she worked with the Michigan Association of Counties on their government affairs team. 

Hannah earned a Master of Public Policy from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Communication from Saginaw Valley State University. She was recently accepted into the Michigan Education Policy Fellowship Program.

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitoring and analyzing introduced and enacted policy changes; researching and authoring content for Association communications and presentations; assisting with lobbying and advocacy efforts.
