The Michigan Continuous Improvement Facilitators Network (MCIFN) provides a venue for continuous improvement facilitators to meet quarterly to engage in professional learning related to continuous improvement and networking to improve the quality of services that are provided to local districts.

Who We Are

The membership of MCIFN primarily consists of continuous improvement facilitators at the ISD level who provide professional development, technical assistance, and other services to support district and school teams in leading, facilitating, and managing the continuous improvement process at the local level. Network members also include local district leaders who serve as facilitators in their districts, often in areas of the state where ISDs have limited capacity to support continuous improvement. ISD and district facilitators from the same ISD service area are encouraged to collaborate in clarifying roles and to partner in facilitating continuous improvement processes at the local level.

How We Meet Our Purpose

MCIFN hosts six Networking meetings each year and an annual conference held over three days in June. During and between meetings, members engage in collective learning and collaborative problem-solving, provide feedback on state policies and initiatives, and share and create resources to support effective and efficient continuous improvement practices statewide.

Membership

Participants become members of MCIFN upon registration for at least one networking or June conference event. Upon payment for the event, members are granted access to the MCIFN Schoology course where all materials and resources for the year will be posted. The membership year runs from July 1 through June 30, regardless of when the membership is activated.
