MASA’s Fall Conference is an annual event dedicated to inspiring district leaders, exploring innovative approaches in education, and breaking through conventional boundaries. During general sessions with keynote speakers and numerous learning sessions over the course of three days, MASA members will learn from and engage with other thought leaders and trailblazers, and walk away with ready-to-implement ideas and resources to help tackle challenges, embrace change, and unlock limitless potential in their education communities.

Communications Academy – Sessions 1&2

The Donovan Group’s Communications Academy – hosted through Marquette-Alger RESA – aims to bridge the gap in communications professional development for superintendents, administrators, and school communicators. Consisting of nine distinct classes, each approximately 90 minutes long, the sessions cover various aspects of school and district communications such as communications planning, crisis communications, media relations, and social media.

The first two Communications Academy sessions will be presented prior to MASA’s Fall Conference:

  • Session 1: Basics of School Communications
  • Session 2: Communications Planning

When: Wednesday, Sept. 18 at 9 a.m  to 11:30 a.m.
