Membership Type
Superintendent
Individuals serving as Superintendent at one of Michigan’s 600+ public school districts and intermediate school districts.
Central Office
Individuals serving in leadership roles within the Central Office or performing district-wide oversight related to their role.
Associate
Individuals serving as leaders in the education community (i.e. other state association executives, legislators, and other government representatives).
Executive Assistant
Individuals serving as Executive Assistants supporting Michigan’s public school district and intermediate school district leaders.
Retired Superintendents
All retired superintendents automatically receive a complimentary lifetime Emeritus Membership – giving MASA retirees access to members-only events, including a discounted rate for Fall and Midwinter Conferences.
By upgrading to MASA’s Alumni Membership, retired members will also receive the Association’s Communications Benefits package to stay in-the-know on current education-related topics and events, as well as access to Alumni-only webinars and other special learning opportunities.

Annual membership with MASA is valid from July 1 to June 30.
Membership payment is due on or before August 1 of each year.
